What Ordinary Moments Would You Include in a Video About Your Life?

It is challenging to pick just a few moments from my daily life to blog or record. I wish I could go back in time and watch my entire life in one video, but that is not possible. However, I worry that if I blog, my everyday life won't feel as unique. I think making the choice of what you would like to choose in this video shows the important things in life. I'd like to blog about both significant events and enjoyable times I had with friends.  But I think the most useful things to blog about are diet, exercise, and morning routine, interactions you have with friends or teachers.

Imagine someone viewing footage of your daily activities and being able to observe the decisions you made, which may have had a positive or negative impact on you. The major reasons I decided to include this in a video about my daily activities were to demonstrate my personal growth and the impact your day's beginning may have on the rest. On the few days where I get out of bed right as I wake up and eat breakfast I realize I have more energy and often happier.

The next part of my daily life I would put in my video is interactions around friends. If someone would watch my video they could see how your surroundings dictate your life. How certain friends could benefit or ruin your life. If people would be able to see an example of how this affected my life they might be able to make better decisions on who they hangout with. According to the University of Minnesota your environment mostly dictates you in three ways. Number one, The environment has the power to encourage or discourage human interaction. Number 2, The environment has an impact on people's motivation and behavior. Number 3, The surroundings might affect how you feel.

The last moments of my daily life I would put in a video are sports experiences. Whether it's soccer, cross country, or track. I think it would be cool to look back on all my achievements and how I got there. But being able to see how I didn’t reach my goals would also be beneficial for anybody that watches moments of my everyday life. Most of the time when I don't reach my goals are when I don't put in the time and effort, and when I have a negative mindset. This teaches the importance of discipline.

Sports experiences are the final moments of my daily life that I would document on camera. Whether it be cross country, track, or soccer. Looking back on all of my accomplishments and how I got there seems cool. But being able to see how I didn’t reach my goals would also be beneficial for anybody that watches moments of my everyday life. The majority of the time, when I don't achieve my goals is because I don't put in the time and effort or because I have a poor mindset. This emphasizes the value of discipline.

  1. This is a intriguing idea for a blog. It really makes you think about what parts of your daily life are important to you, and what you can learn from them.

  2. Like what Will said, this is a really interesting blog. I also find it really interesting that you can find out what is beneficial or not by reviewing footage. As a powerlifter, it's really beneficial to record my progress, because I can't remember everything from memory. If I had documented my progress earlier, it would be really fun to see my progress and know how much I've improved.
